I experienced something called a pool today. At first I thought I was going to have a bath right in the front yard. Don't my Elmo swim pants look just like a baby Speedo? This pool thing is great! Mommy says to please bear with her as she felt the need to post a gazillion pictures of me in the pool. Believe me, there's alot more than this! I was momentarily distracted by the little dog that visited my yard.
Since AstroDad won't be here on my birthday, he gave me my present a little early. It's a really cool basketball game. As you can tell, I get really excited about presents. AstroDad and me.

This morning Mommy, Daddy, AstroDad, and me went down to Mud Island to walk along the river. I really enjoyed seeing all of the pretty girls jogging along the path. In fact, I almost fell out of my stroller trying to turn around and watch one! My friend Kirk lives on the island so he gets to see them on a regular basis. Lucky devil!! Taking a break before pulling every single book off of the shelf!

This is how Daddy found me when he got home today. I had destroyed his carefully organized paperwork.
My very favorite thing to play with. I chase this ball all over the den. I'm still working on my throwing technique.

Me and my girlfriend Lura. I dig older women! It's kinda hard to see me but here I am with all the senior girls Saturday night at the recital. Aren't they pretty? Lunch at Mimi and G's on Sunday. He introduced me to something new-mashed potatoes!! Mommy and Daddy insisted on getting a picture of my goofy curls. Don't they know I'm ready to got to bed?! Definitely not at my best here. But this is what happens when I get super cranky.

My new favorite things are the golf clubs G gave me even before I was born. I've been practicing with my pitching wedge all day. And chasing Bailey all over the den with it. I'm smiling because we just left Toys R Us with a carload of toys for my birthday. I'll have to pretend to be surprised when I get them because Mommy and Daddy weren't smart enough to hide them from me!

I am now a perpetual motion machine! Absolutely nothing is safe from my little hands. Today I dumped out all 100 balls from my peek-a-bop. Harley and I chased them all over the den. Crawling after the balls. Occasionally I will resort to the one knee-one foot crawl. It's a little faster sometimes.
Singing Mimi a song as I gave her a card this morning. Enjoying some french toast at brunch today. I also enjoyed macaroni and cheese, tater tots, turkey, and dessert. Mommy's first official Mother's Day. I guess last year doesn't count since I wasn't here yet. Maybe I'll be a conductor?!
My Mimi is a dance teacher and the recital was last night in Winona. This is me with Aunt Heather and our friend Kate Taylor Wilson. I loved watching all the dancing girls. I didn't even go to sleep unitl the very end. Me and Aunt Heather on the stage after the recital. Look at all those little girls!! I don't know how my Mimi teaches them all. This is a shot from the grand finale last night.
I must have played hard at school today, because when Mommy picked me up I was very sleepy. She thinks I must have eaten hard too based on all the food on my face!
I LOVE scrambled eggs. Well, actually, there's not really a food that I don't love. On our visit to St. Jude, we saw Mommy's friend Miss Dori. My friend Kent turned one year old on Wednesday. We went over to his house for some ice cream and cake. I really liked his purple ball! Learning how to give five with Karin at lunch on Wednesday. Daddy didn't get all of her in the picture-just her arm.

Getting kisses from Harley. We're starting to be friends now. Although, when I crawl around and chase her she doesn't want to be my friend. Aunt Heather gave me this learning table for Christmas. Now that I can stand up and play with it it's even more fun. I pulled out absolutely EVERYTHING in the cabinet. Mommy put it all back and I tried really hard to take it all out again.

After my mommy saw Kirk's ball pit toy,she had to get me one too. I thought it was pretty cool. My favorite thing to do is get a ball in each hand and bang them together. Oh yeah, and to throw all the balls out and watch Mommy pick them up!
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
