Sometimes I don't sleep well away from my own bed. I was up most of the night Wednesday so I was sleepy Thanksgiving morning. I could think of nothing better than to snuggle in Aunt Heather's lap and watch the Macy's parade. This is what I did when everyone else was having Thanksgiving dinner. As always, no day is complete without playing with a ball.
Mommy wanted a picture of the two of us. As you can see, I wasn't too keen on the idea. My Aunt Pam brought me this Santa cookie. She always brings me fun things to eat-cookies, doughnuts, cotton candy. She mentioned something about payback from when Mommy used to babysit Lura. I thought I'd help Mimi by rearranging her magazines.
Today was a pretty day so we did my favorite thing-playing outside with my ball. Here I scream with excitement. Brooke came to play too. I just love her!! I'm getting ready to move in for a kiss. Daddy really needs to rake our yard. The leaves are so deep that you can only see half of me! Brooke creates a mini tornado of leaves. I thought that was cool. What is this thing that Daddy has given to me? I thought it was food but it's just a crayon.

My mommy does things like this to me for her own amusement.
See, my mommy's not too smart sometimes and left my Christmas present right out in the open where I could find it. I think it's a piano. Maybe it's a chair? Oops, I got caught. Gotta run!
This is girlfriend Brooke. She lives next door. I've always had a thing for older women-she's seven.
Getting a little reading done before bath time. Not as tasty as a cookie but it'll do in a pinch. I tried to look remorseful after dumping a whole cup of water on the floor.
When I wear my silky on my head it means I'm getting sleepy. Bailey wanted to sit in my chair with me but I wouldn't let him.
I have been sick so I didn't go to school today. Since it was rainy and cold and we couldn't go outside, I needed to find an indoor activity. I started with dumping every one of my blocks on the floor. After emptying the contents of my bookshelf and my pajama drawer, I decided that the diapers needed to be on the floor too. I sit and survey the utter destruction I have caused. Now I must find a way to get the lotion out of this tube and on the floor.

Visiting with Paula Deen at the bookstore last week. I like her because she speaks Southern like we do. To me, everything that is round is a ball. I cracked this "ball" open after throwing it on the ground too many times.
While at Mimi and G's for the weekend, I decided to find out what happens when you put a chicken nugget in a paper towel tube. It was useful for dumping food on the floor as well.
One of my new "tricks". Mommy thinks my Aunt Heather or "Heduh" as I call her taught me this. Two things made me happy at the party last Saturday-popcorn and a balloon. Not a good picture of me but the ONLY one of me with my dinasour head on. I HATED that costume. Tigger (really my friend Kent) and I take a little break from Trunk or Treat at his school last week.
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
