one of these days i will learn my lesson. i left the girls in their high chairs with some cheerios and jack watching a movie while i ran upstairs for just a second. then i heard, "mommy, i made a mess." evidently, kate and ella wanted more cereal so he tried to help them out. i think he just wanted an excuse to pull out the swiffer.

the scene of jack's best sunday ever. ella and kate look happy to be at the golf store. jack shows off his coveted prize-new titleist balls!! jack met some new friends. they were very quiet. kate loved the banana milkshake!
oh, this is pretty. can't believe mommy hasn't killed this yet.
gotta be faster to beat me ella! ha ha! i got it first!
Ice cream!!! Ella trying to stay cool. Cooling off in the fountain. It was so so hot. Ninety degrees at 11:30 am. Gotta love Memphis weather! The giant balloons Heather and Stan sent.
Thursday after Jack's last day of preschool, we all went to Cameron Brown Park (our new favorite park). We ran, played, fed ducks, and watched baseball games. Two hours later we left-hot, sweaty, and cranky. The weirdest thing happened. Whenever we started feeding the ducks, a whole herd of turtles swam up too. That's the green thing in the middle.

Smells okay, maybe I'll give it a try. Nope, don't care for it too much. Ella and Kate tried crackers for the first time on Friday. Ella loved them and ate 2 and Kate didn't really care for them. We also saw that Ella has her first tooth too. This teething thing hasn't been too bad for the girls.
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
