When Big Brother Tries to Help

one of these days i will learn my lesson. i left the girls in their high chairs with some cheerios and jack watching a movie while i ran upstairs for just a second. then i heard, "mommy, i made a mess." evidently, kate and ella wanted more cereal so he tried to help them out. i think he just wanted an excuse to pull out the swiffer.

Family Fun Day at the Park

Thursday after Jack's last day of preschool, we all went to Cameron Brown Park (our new favorite park). We ran, played,fed ducks, and watched baseball games. Two hours later we left-hot, sweaty, and cranky.
The weirdest thing happened. Whenever we started feeding the ducks, a whole herd of turtles swam up too. That's the green thing in the middle. 

Smells okay, maybe I'll give it a try.
Nope, don't care for it too much.


Ella and Kate tried crackers for the first time on Friday. Ella loved them and ate 2 and Kate didn't really care for them. We also saw that Ella has her first tooth too. This teething thing hasn't been too bad for the girls.
