No pictures, but today little Ella took 4 steps two different times!! I figured she would walk first because she is braver than Kate but she only started standing by herself last week. Tomorrow I'll try to catch it on camera.
we took a trip down to perdido for a long weekend. jack enjoyed being the center of attention. the girls stayed with mimi and g where they also enjoyed being the center of attention. jack loved the beach-until he realized there was also a pool.
our friendly beach visitor sandy feet sandy hands our "tondo" this is how we found jack at 5:20 p.m. he was so tired after spending ALL day at the pool. he actually slept through 2 different restaurants. i made us drive all the way to gulf shores to the hangout but when we got there i decided it was too touristy and didn't really have any seafood. so we left and ended up at big o's for some GREAT seafood-thanks pam for that suggestion!! he didn't wake up until putt putt. then of course he was a wild man! jack at putt putt. he said, "i got to smile for g." so g, this is for you! they first offered jack some big goofy plastic club to play with. they just didn't know that he takes his golf very seriously and only plays with "weal" clubs. mommy and jack after a round of golf. hot, sweaty and mommy with very frizzy hair.
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
