These girls LOVE to try clothes and shoes on, especially Ella. We were going through shoes to see which ones we could wear this fall and the girls were in heaven!
Oh, how I love these curls on my baby girl!! She just has oodles of ringlets that I just love to run my fingers through. I have a feeling though that these same curls are gonna cause quite the drama in the teenage years. I can just see it now-Ella wanting Kate's straight hair and Kate wanting Ella's curly hair.

We needed to be out of the house yesterday while the maid was there, so the kids and I went to the germ pit that is McDonald's playland. I don't usually like to take them somewhere like that by myself because I like to have an extra set of hands in case all hell breaks loose, as it has before. But, everybody was on their best behavior. And after a little bit of playing and a gallon of hand sanitizer later, we were on our way home.
Hopscotch Kate. Ella says why sit at the table when you can sit on it? Little Miss Prim and Proper.
Kate has started to have quite the opinion on what she wears. Today we were trying on shoes that Murry Catherine gave us and Kate fell in love with this pair. There was no going to bed without them.
This is how I found the girls when we stopped at the grocery store. Aren't they sweet? Well, I guess it would be sweeter if Kate wasn't picking her nose.
The whole crew came up to Germantown for the fireworks. It was so much fun. Hot, but fun.
Kristen and Murry Catherine. Ella trying on her light up jewelry. Derek. Herb and Daddy. Mama and Aunt Jane. Edward and Christina. Ed and Ella. Ella making a call. Unhappy Kate. Kate was so tired and SO hot! Kate trying to escape from Ed. Ella enjoying a chocolate covered banana. Hot, sweaty Kate watching fireworks.
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
