Snow Day in Memphis

Today we had a snow day. School was out, Stephen was home so we all went outside to play in the snow. Since we don't have snow very often at all we don't really have any snow appropriate clothes. So we just threw some stuff together. Here are my little redneck snow bunnies.

Ella and the Cupcake

Ella and I went to run some errands last night and stopped at Muddy's Bake Shop for a little cupcake. She, of course, chose a pink one. And obviously enjoyed every minute of it.

The Best Donut Shop Ever!

Jack's newest obsession is eating donuts at Gibson's donuts. We went today for the second day in a row. While scarfing down his second donut he proclaimed Gibson's the best ever.

The Bauchs Go Bowling

We took Jack bowling last weekend for the first time. I'm sure the people there thought that he had never been anywhere before because he went absolutely nuts- he was so excited. I had not been bowling since the notorious Gaines Family Fun Night years ago when Lura split her chin open. Thankfully, no one got hurt this time.

Finally it was warm enough that we could go to the park. They have missed being outside.

Texas Trip

We took a trip to Texas to visit Stephen's dad after Christmas. Stephen's sister and brother and his family were there too. It was a surprise to Garland since he only knew Kirsten would be there, not the whole crew. We took the kids to a local park and they had a great time.
