Here's the latest picture of baby brother. At my 19 week ultrasound he was measuring 2 weeks ahead. Today at 23 weeks he is still measuring 2 weeks ahead, already weighing 1 lb. 11 oz. Dr. Chauhan estimates he'll be around 9 or 9 1/2 pounds. Oh. My. Word. Jack was 8.7 lbs and I thought that was huge! So it looks like he'll be here the first week of November-don't think we'll make it to the 17th. Now we just need to settle on his name. We think it's gonna be Reed Thomas but we're still trying out others.
The girls will start taking dancing in August. I am SO excited!! That's one of the reasons I wanted little girls- my Nannie was a dance teacher for over 60 years, my mom teaches now, and my sister and I took for years. I only wish Nannie was here to see them. She'd be so proud. They are pretty cute. :)
The girls went to Lauren's 7th birthday party last weekend. Jack was in Winona so he had to miss it. I met Lauren when she was just a year old. She's such a precious girl. Kate and Ella just adore her.
We went to the annual Germantown fireworks again this year. The weather was wonderful and the kids had a great time running around. We missed all my family and Kristen and Murry Catherine. I think the heat last year scared them off.
Ella demanded to carry her own chair. It didn't last long. The firemen let the kids hop in the fire truck. Kate, of course, would have no part of it. Enjoying a funnel cake.
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
