Ella, also known as Reed's other mother, just adores her baby brother. She greets him in his crib every morning, picks out his clothes for the day. Luckily she shares her mom's penchant for seersucker, jon jons, smocking, and bubbles for little boys. But maybe because that's all that is in his closet. :) When he's awake she follows him around keeping him away from "big kid things" and giving him Ella approved toys. Such a sweet girl!
Building a clubhouse for her and baby brother.
Making sure he eats his breakfast-even if it is off of the floor.
Helping to learn to climb up the stairs. Not my choice.
The girls started back to dancing today. Kate thought we were going to dance on the "big stage" and was a little disappointed when we went to the studio instead. This is their second year at NVS and I can't wait to see what they learn!
Trying out his desk. In Jr. K they had tables so the desk is a new thing for Jack. When I asked him what his favorite part of the day was he told me it was laying his head on his desk after lunch instead of taking a nap on a rest mat!
Reed just started going to MDO at First Evan one day a week. I had the hardest time letting him go but he did great! He could have cared less that I left him. I think he was happy to see some different toys!
We recently discovered Sweet & Sassy. I took the girls out there for a haircut and now they are hooked. Kate asks every day to got to "the princess haircut shop." I think they just like the sparkles, stickers, and tattoos they get!
A pediatric oncology nurse in a previous life, I am now a stay at home mommy. Stephen and I have been married for 8 wonderful years and have 4 beautiful children. Jack is 7, Kate and Ella are 5, and Reed is 2. They keep me busy but I love it. I love living in the South, sweet tea, front porch swings, purses, shopping for my kids, magazines, traveling, Ole Miss football, the beach and I'll monogram anything that doesn't fight back. This is our attempt to journal our children's lives since, Lord knows, I don't have time to keep up with a baby book.
