Texas Day 2- Aquarium, Galveston, and Putt Putt

Still sleepy girls.

The penguins the girls were not too fond of.

The girls were "scad" of the fish. Lucky me-I got to carry around 60 lbs of toddler.

When Jack spotted the water he was determined to go to the beach. Even if it was COLD. Two of my children were bound and determined to take off their shoes and socks. If Jack was cold, he would never admit it. Stubborn he is.

This is where Ella stayed. She didn't like the cold sand.

Mommy and sweet Ella.
Teaching Astrodad the finer points of putting.
Evidently, serious golfers can't be interrupted by potty breaks.
No, he wasn't wearing a coat. Yes, it was cold. Yes, I should probably be reported.

Texas Day 3- The Unfortunate Ice Skating Incident

Whenever we go to Houston, I always have to take a trip to the Galleria. Jack saw Jaya ice skating and really wanted to try it. He put his skates on and when he stepped on the ice he slipped a little and it scared him. So that was the end of that. He really, really wanted to skate. Maybe next time.

The Big Show at Little Gym

Yesterday was the end of semester Big Show at Little Gym. All the kids showed off what they had learned and got a gold medal at the end. The girls had a great time.

Molly Kate, Mary Ann, Kate and Ella have a pow wow after the medal ceremony.

Hoarders?

I heard the girls furiously working on something in the playroom. This is what I found.

Last Day in Texas-Space Center Houston

All the cousins.
Ella tried to the land the space shuttle. She crashed and burned.
Jack and Madhur way up at the top.

Jack and Jaya enjoying a little lunch together.
Cousin Kiran.

Jack and Mommy in front of his "very favorite place to play."
Kate and ever present "baby" at Franca's for dinner.
Everybody watching Wubzy, so, so sleepy at Astrodad's house.
