Not So Snowy Nights at My Big Backyard

We went to My Big Backyard Saturday night. It was freezing cold, but we went anyway. They called it Snowy Nights so Jack was super excited to play in the "petend" snow. There was no snow-just a few tiny flakes blowing out this little fan thing. So small you couldn't even see it. Jack was disappointed but we had fun. We froze, but we had fun.

This Is What I Saw

When I went into the girls' room. Kate in her leotard and high heels, Jack naked. That one I can't explain.

Pilgrims and Artwork

Jack at his Thanksgiving feast.
Jack's class does alot of teacher directed artwork and projects. Ms. Sheryl will draw and then the kids will draw it. This is his attempt at a bumblebee. Not too bad but, of course, I'm his mommy. He says he is kind when, "I be at home." Well, most of the time. He also wrote his name-most of it. The pitchfork is his version of a k.

Angel In Front of the Tree

My sweet little Ella was dying to have her picture taken in front of the tree. I could just eat her up!

Sick

My poor, pitiful Kate. She's got the crud. Probably something Stephen brought home from the clinic. Bad cough, runny nose, fever. But she felt well enough to show off her apples. I'm just waiting for the other two to get it.

So, it's really hard to get a picture of two 2 year olds and a 4 year old. Everyone looking the same direction with a relatively pleasant look on their face. Sunday before church I attempted to do just that. The only problem was that Ella refused to give up the toothbrush and toothpaste. Dental hygiene is important to her I guess.

The Evil Mouse House

Last week Jack's school had a fundraiser night at the place where that evil mouse has pizza and games that every grubby, nasty hand has touched. Chuck E. Cheese. I hate that place. But there was no getting out of going because they had talked about at school and Jack was SO excited. So off we went armed with boatloads of hand sanitizer. The kids had a great time. Jack was racing around from game to game like some sort of maniac on a pizza high. Hopefully, there won't be any more fundraiser nights for quite a while.

The girls enjoying their suckers. Needless to say, they were a sticky mess afterward.

Soccer

Jack had his first soccer game in a couple of weeks because they had been rained out. He started off with a bang but when it came time to switch fields he got a little upset and preferred to stay at the field where his daddy was coaching. Not much soccer was played after that but I think next week will be great!

I Go To Dancing School

This year, my mom teaches a 2 year old class. So when we were in Winona last week, the girls went to class too. Ella liked it, Kate not so much. Neither one were real happy about their Mimi talking to other little girls.
Watching for the other dancing girls.

Ella and Caroline.
Ella stood on her "x" and never moved.

The Wizard of Oz

Kate sat right down with Dorothy like she was a long lost friend and never stopped smiling. Ella, on the other hand, wasn't so sure about sitting with all those strange people.

Cedar Hill Farm

We headed out to Cedar Hill Farm today. It was cold, wet, and muddy. Feeding animals, going to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and playing on a tower of hay-fun times!!

Ella didn't like it.
Kate found her pumpkin.

Heading into the pumpkin patch.

Jack in the corn maze. He loved trying to answer the questions and seeing what "pap" {path} we would go on.
